SAM’S VILLAS are two semi-detached villas in a quiet residential area in Accra. Set on top of a small hill with lovely views over the east of Accra, the villas are less than 5 minutes drive from the sea and beach.
Our aim in creating Sam’s Villas is to provide you with high quality accommodation comparable with self-catering apartments on the Mediterranean or the Caribbean. We worked with architect and project manager Christopher Cripps on the conversion and we are in love with his creation. We hope you will feel the same way when you come to stay.
Villa 1 sleeps 4 is on two levels and has 2 light and airy bedrooms upstairs – one with a spacious balcony and beautiful views of Accra. You will enjoy the lovely sea breeze from the balcony. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, and the second bedroom has a double bed. There is also a large bathroom upstairs with a shower.
The lounge has seating for 7, giving you room to relax and watch the cable TV, DVD player or listen to some music on the excellent sound system provided. An open plan kitchen/diner and a small downstairs bathroom complete this lovely and comfortable space.
Villa 2 sleeps 6 and has 3 large bedrooms (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) each with a queen sized bed. The master bedroom also has a spacious balcony and great views of Accra. There is a bathroom with toilet upstairs and and an additional toilet for comfort. There is another bathroom with shower and toilet downstairs. Downstairs also finds a fully fitted open-plan kitchen leading into the dining and lounge area. Sliding doors lead to a spacious patio with garden furniture.
OPTION of RENTING A 5-BEDROOM VILLA Inter-connecting doors mean that the two villas can be combined and rented as a 5 bedroomed villa offering accommodation for up to 10 guests.
Nothing beats a pre-dinner cocktail whilst sitting on the balcony enjoying the sea breeze and peace of Teshie Nungua estates. After your cocktail, you can choose to eat at home or you will find a good selection of shops and restaurants within 10 minutes drive of the house. If you want a wider choice, the villas are just 30 minutes away from the city centres of Accra and Tema where you will find a selection of supermarkets, department stores, clubs and restaurants.
Each villa has its own private garden at the back and patios and balcony for your relaxation and there is a great feeling of space both in and out of the house. We hope that it offers you all the comforts you would expect from your home, and hopefully a little more.
The property is managed by an experienced manager who lives within a minute's walk of the house, so will be available to assist you when required. Whilst Teshie Nungua is a safe area, we provide a security guard for your added safety and a daily maid service.
We do not have a chef on the premises, but the manager's wife is an experienced caterer who can provide local and continental dishes when required. A pre-agreed fee will be payable for this service, so please let us know if you require her services and we can give you a quote.
Finally, as you are a guest in our home, we feel it is only right that we provide you with a welcome pack of Ghanaian goodies to ensure that your first night and morning is as comfortable as possible. As Ghanaians say as a way of welcome - AKWAABA.
